My artwork is mixed media, primarily in the mediums of encaustic painting, photography and collage. Encaustic is beeswax tempered with damar resin (tree sap) and pigmented. It is kept hot and layers are fused with a heat tool or torch. The method is over 2500 years old and was used by the Greeks, Romans & Egyptians.
